Art Buds Kids Art & Craft Club (6-Week Program) April 1 - May 6 | Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm Join Art Buds Kids Art & Craft Club for a hands-on creative journey designed to inspire young artists! This 6-week program is perfect for kids who love to make, explore, and try new art materials. Each session introduces exciting projects such as acrylic and watercolour painting, clay sculpture, wood crafts, and illustration. Through instructor-led, age-appropriate lessons, children will learn basic art fundamentals, and gain confidence in their creativity—all in a fun, supportive environment. Let your child’s imagination flourish while they create, experiment, and express themselves at Art Buds. Ideal for children approximately ages 5–12 Limited seats available $130 +HST --------------------- Week 1 — Blooming Basics (Painting) Project: Spring Flowers or Imaginary Garden Kids paint bright flowers or design their own magical plants Add “fantasy flowers” (rainbow petals, patterned leaves) Week 2 — Bugs & Little Creatures (Mixed Media) Project: 3D Bug Art (ladybugs, bees, or invented creatures) Use paper, cardboard, pipe cleaners, etc. Create a “new species” bug and name it Week 3 — Sky & Weather Magic (Watercolour) Project: Rainbows, sunsets, or stormy skies Add silhouettes (trees, houses, animals) with marker or paint Week 4 — Garden Creatures & Habitats (Drawing + Design) Project: Draw an animal and design its perfect spring habitat Could be real (rabbit, bird) or imaginary Fun twist: Turn it into a mini “map” of their creature’s world Week 5 — Textures of Nature (Mixed Media) Project: Leaf Rubbings + Texture Prints + Mixed Media Collage Discovering patterns and textures in the natural world Week 6 — My World in Spring (Final Canvas Project) Project: Personal spring scene on canvas board Could be a real place, dream world, or future garden Fun twist: Add mixed media (paint pens, collage elements)
