About the event
Create a thoughtful handmade gift for a special teacher in this fun and creative fused glass workshop. Choose between designing a colourful apple suncatcher or a charming bookshelf-inspired suncatcher—both perfect for celebrating the educators who make a difference.
Participants will learn how to safely cut and grind glass to shape, then design and assemble their chosen project using a vibrant selection of glass colours and textures.
This workshop follows a guided, step-by-step format, giving you hands-on experience with essential fused glass techniques. Barb from The Glass Palette will lead you through the process—from cutting and shaping your glass pieces to arranging and refining your final design—while offering tips, demonstrations, and individual support along the way.
Once your piece is complete, we take care of the fusing process. Your finished suncatcher will be ready for pickup in 1–2 days.
